Mathis Stoffel

Hey. I'm Mathis, 18, from the "beautiful" Valais, yes the one with the insane mountains. As a kid I wanted to be a bus driver, then a YouTuber (not necessarily better), then I suddenly had a camera in my hands and somehow never stopped filming. That's how Filmpeak came about. Co-founded at 17, while still doing my apprenticeship. I'm someone who doesn't stop at the first take when I know there's more in it. I always try to get the best out of budget, time and team, even if that sometimes gets on people's nerves. Being a bus driver would probably have been easier.

At Filmpeak I'm Head of Production – I'm the one on set who makes sure everything is executed the way it was planned. I help with the planning, but the development is mainly Nanuk's domain. On set I'm the point of contact for everything that happens in production.
